Since finishing Art Foundation at Brighton City College, I have had both space and time. In many ways, 2007 for me was not exactly a perfect year; but not nesessarily the worst.
I am no longer carrying out any artistic practice at the current moment; Art Foundation overwhelmed me on reflection, and I have had the space and time now to think back.
I had too many doubts over my handling of my artistic practice that it crippled my dedicatoin and organisation on the course, and being only a 1 year course and living at home, I never really got the chance to settle in. It takes a fair while for me to adjust to new surroundings.
Well, now I should be off to University to do Chemistry, (should be, in any case) and so thoughts of making the production of fine art a full-time commitment are long dead and buried, and I have relaxed in the memory of this past and what-could-have-been.
Lately, I have been tempted to try to carry on some remaining ideas and concepts, so maybe I will soon create works again -who knows.
